Mikel Arteta’s side secured their place in the Champions League final with a 1-0 home win against Atletico Madrid. Meanwhile, Bayern needed to overturn their 4-5 defeat to PSG in the first leg at Parc des Princes last week, but after falling behind by just three minutes at the Allianz Arena in the second leg, Vincent Kompany’s side were unable to score until Harry Kane equalized in the fourth minute of injury time in the second half.
PSG are currently aiming for their second Champions League title in the club’s history, while Arsenal are making their first appearance in the Champions League final since their defeat to Barcelona in 2006. Speaking after Bayern’s elimination, Kane was asked for his brother’s opinion on the final between Arsenal and PSG. Kane said:
“Clearly, PSG are considered slightly stronger, but Arsenal have a real chance of winning the title. The match will be evenly contested, and I don’t think there will be a huge difference in the score.”
Meanwhile, Luis Enrique insisted that Arsenal deserved a place in the Champions League final, which takes place on May 30th.
